Radar Lock Launch
On Wednesday 18th April, Oakley South Pacific staged a media event to launch the new Radarlock and mark 100 days to the London Olympics 2012.
A select group of media, key accounts, celebrities and Oakley athletes gathered at Centennial Park in Sydney for a Radarlock breakfast presentation by our very own Marcus Floyd. The presentation was supported by the full Switchlock range; Fast Jacket, Racing Jacket and Airbrake. A Q&A followed with Oakley Olympic Triathletes Emma Moffatt and Brad Kahlefeldt, with the event culminating in a bike ride around Centennial Park where guests were amongst the first in Australia to road test Radarlock. The event was hosted by TV Personality and friend of Oakley, Daniel MacPherson.
The room was dressed in the new Beyond Reason campaign imagery featuring Craig Alexander and Cadel Evans accompanied by beautiful product shots. Radarlock was showcased on the breakfast tables along with a Beyond Reason/ Radarlock menu. There was also an O Store Airbrake POP unit on display for all guests to have a play with.
Prior to the event, all guests were sent an Oakley t-shirt or tank and an active jacket to wear on the day. Upon arrival, guests were presented with a pair of Radarlock and a media pack including the Beyond Reason brand book and Radarlock media kit.
The poor Sydney weather didn’t stop most guests hitting the road to test Radarlock on bikes provided and fitted by Giant.
