Aussies lead up to the Olympics
The Olympic Games are only one week away and our Oakley Aussie athletes have arrived in London to prepare for their events. We will have live updates from the Oakley Safe House in London on our Oakley Australia Facebook and Twitter pages. So make sure you follow us to stay updated.
We are excited to see No. 1 ranked in the world and the reigning world time trial BMX champion, Caroline Buchanan compete for her dream result. Buchanan is an undisputed favourite, along with Oakley’s Sam Willoughby who’s confident to land Australia’s first Olympic medal in the discipline.
One of the most popular races will be the Road Race with defending Tour de France Champion Cadel Evans who will be chasing Gold for his fourth consecutive Olympic Games. Evans is competing in the 2012 Tour de France at the moment so hopefully his preparation will be sorted for the big race in London.
Our women Triathletes Erin Densham, Emma Jackson and Emma Moffart have all got what it takes to take a medal at the Games with Emma Jackson being only 20 years old. Which is quite a feat for an endurance sport such as Triathlon.
The next few weeks will be very exciting for everyone involved and everyone sitting back watching the Games on the TV. GO Australia!
